I didn't have too many issues at first. What I discovered what that they eventually started getting sick of each other! Like brother and sister, they started having little petty fights. So for the last 2 weeks they have been in a seating arrangement with the idea in mind that they need to get to know other kids in the class. We talk a lot in my class so this was a way for the kids to get to know each other. I intend to let them pick their own spot again, but I'm liking this right now.<br /><br />I learned a great little game that will help with students building each other up. It's easy!<br /><br />Pick about 8 students and put them into two lines facing each other. Pick another student to walk in between the two lines. As the student walks through, each of the eight kids needs to say something they like about that student. "You are funny" "You are a good artist" etc. The rule is that you can not repeat.
